Hannover/Berlin/Leipzig/Paris
Born in 2001, Max grew up in Berlin, where he began photographing political events related to the climate justice movement and the housing struggle while he was still in school. Through his early freelance work, he eventually found his way into photojournalism. After an internship with Reporters Without Borders, he decided to pursue a degree in “Visual Journalism & Documentary Photography” in Hanover starting in 2023.
In his work, Max focuses on current political events in France and Germany, the realities of life for young people outside major cities, and individuals and initiatives engaged in civil society.
